This BBS is used primarily for experimental development of BBS server and utility programs used by BBS sysops. Most are available for ftp from various internet sites around the country.

The Packet system has databases of Ham Radio related information which may not be fully up to date at this time but maintain files of interest to Ham Radio, Packet and Computer users.

Local users may connect directly to W1NPR from either 145.09 or via the local nodes and switches

The system is running on a 1.8 Ghz Gateway XP Pro with 512 Mb ram and 2 - 80 gb H.D's There are 2 radio ports, using a Kantronics 9612 tnc.
There is one Alinco 45 W transceiver on the 2 meter port at 1200 baud and a
Kenwood 451-A on 441.150 at 9600 baud. All antennas are Diamonds.

We are running several full service real-time and remote file servers by W1NPR and have a database devoted to them for information & comments.

A Frequently updated FCC database is provided with many search criteria.

We have both the SAM callbook and Buckmaster Hamcall CD-Rom on-line.

White Page and Yellow Page Databases are maintained as well with up to date information on most packet users and BBS locations worldwide. Find instructions on these and other functions in the menu on the left.
