These records are the work of many of the Crosby clan who I would like to thank for all their
help and unselfish sharing of information.

The one who got me started was my cousin Betty Carmody Giddings who generously sent
the old "Crosby Family Bible" to me from her home in California and sparked my interest
in some old deeds my father had when he died.

My original work concentrated on the descendants of Captain Freeman Crosby who was born
December 04, 1802 and Died on October 10, 1861

My Wife, Etta and I spent many days searching records all around the Cape Cod and Boston
area. Much information was found in the Cemeteries of Brewster and their old hand written
records in the basement of the town hall

George Crosby who I met on Cape Cod about 1995 provided much information and took me
back from Capt. Crosby to John Crosby Abt. 1440.
He later provided a wonderful work on the California ( Bing & Bob ) Crosbys which he had
personally been given by George Robert [Bob] Crosby, Bing's brother.

Thanks to Judith Francis Johnson ( Cronin ) who took my data and created the first charts I had
to work with.

These charts when placed on my WWW site on the Internet created a lot of interest and
led me to Neil Crosby.

Neil is the one who really gave me the boost to obtain this program and get all the data
organized. He entered most of the data from my charts and provided me with a good
database seed which is the actual foundation of this work.

Files from Neil , John Crosby, Joan Tregarthen Huston, Bill Crosby, Joyce Ann Hill Cook,
and Cynthia Ann Stephenson have been merged along with other many others
and data obtained on the Internet to create these records.
Individuals are welcome to this information for their personal use however all other rights to
